The Citizen in Gloucestershire reported on local football club Forest Green’s Monday fixture from the stands<\/a> after the club banned the paper from the media box.<\/p>\n

The club said it was unhappy with transfer stories published by the Citizen and handed a ban to the paper for one home match.  <\/p>\n

Citizen and Gloucestershire Live editor Jenny Eastwood<\/a> said: “We are naturally very disappointed with the decision taken by Forest Green Rovers to deny us media access for the game. We pride ourselves on maintaining the very highest standards of sports reporting.<\/p>\n

“Our reporter will buy a ticket for the game to enable us to maintain our coverage of the club for our readers and we look forward to working with Forest Green Rovers to resolve this matter as soon as possible.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
